I finally heard from Josh. Here's what he wrote:
'Sorry I haven't been online much lately. ...it has been a littlehectic lately and I haven't had time to check email. I realized myflight was leaving at 930 instead of 1130 the night before I was supposed to leave and so was stressed all night that I had to change my taxi arrangements, not knowing if i could still fit the golf game in and what not. Anyway I still got the game in but was still stressed because Hermann (MAF Avionics) got me to bring some aircraft parts to Mad for him which meant I needed to do some paperwork at the airport in strange places. Plus, my taxi was 30 min late in picking me up and the traffic was terrible. So I get everything done and am ready to checkin and then the lady tells me actually your flight has been CANCELLED and will only leave the following morning at 800. So then they kindly get me a hotel and shuttle back into Nairobi, downtown no less and so here i am sitting at Java at Jomo at 5 am waiting to get on my plane. Not only that, i am now down to 3.5 days in Madagascar to get everything done. Stuff me, it's going to be busy.'
Now Josh has to pack out and pack up suitcases, pay tuition for June and deposit a registration fee for school for January when we return, iron out househelp salaries and ensure our house is being taken care of in our absence, do some office stuff?, find and purchase souvenirs, etc. all before Sunday when he leaves again for Kenya. At this point i think it's still not 100% if he is flying in Sudan or not. It's all dependent on some mechanic inspection regulations for the plane. I'm quite certain Josh would greatly benefit from our prayers as he ties up all these loose ends and sorts things out for his next 2 months.
