Today has been a trying day, although we DID manage to find the clinic this time on our walk around the block that was so unsuccessful yesterday. Judah and i trudged to the Tropical Health Clinic this morning and both got jabbed: me with a $200+ blood tests tube and him, after seeing how his brave mother didnt even flinch at the needle (he was more nervous about it than i was, remarkably, badgering the doctor with "is the needle going to hurt?!" about 50 times before the needle got anywhere near my arm), got himself jabbed with a Yellow Fever vaccination, which we all need before they'll let us out of the country, apparently. He screamed only a little bit, and then bravely told the lady downstairs slotted next for the same jab after him that it didnt hurt anymore.
After braving the jabs we went out of the clinic and Judah saw some chickens to chase. He ran after them only to be attacked by a rooster. Are rooster claw scratches dangerous to one's health? As i rescued him from the indignant fowl i thought of all the stories i've heard of people who are petrified of birds because of some such similar incident in their childhood...
After our courageous outing we rewarded ourselves with icecream. We had a 2 hour nap. And then we waited for Josh to come home for the next 4 hours. What can i say, i miss pre-school. Now, sitting at the computer doing the blogging i have noticed that "someone" has been touching things he shouldnt have while he was playing his computer game and now our camera seems to be completely messed. This is a great shame considering that we're going out of the city this Saturday with friends either to a tea estate or to a game park. Alas. Hopefully Josh can knock it back together.

Glad you could sing some hymns, meet with friends and have some ice cream. We are still staring out our window at a huge pile of snow and ice in our ditch and on our lawn.....Spring should be here soon...
just stopping in to say hi, and that i'm slowly (always a couple days behind...) keeping up with you and your adventures. :)
i also keep meaning to let you know that the brown sugar i found here comes from kenya, so maybe it's there, too?
